Peter Van Buren
Peter Van Buren's love of Hawaii goes back decades. After many years of work with the U.S. Department of State in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, and elsewhere, Peter returned to his first love, here in these islands he now calls home. Along the way, Peter found time to become one of only a handful of certified New York Pizza Guides, and is always happy to share tips on where to find the best pie on Oahu.
An amateur historian, Peter brings a perspective to his tours that seeks to entertain as well as educate. In his spare time, Peter loves to write, care for his rescue dog Momo, volunteer at the Humane Society, and continue to learn more about Hawaii's amazing history and food scene.

Noelani K.
Jessica (Noelani) grew up on Oahu, and had the opportunity to learn about her culture and language as a child by attending a Hawaiian immersion program as a child, and later earning her Bachelor’s degree in Hawaiian language. After earning her Bachelor’s degree, she went on to earn her Master’s in Teaching. She has spent over a decade working in Hawaiian-focused charter schools as a high school math and science teacher and is very passionate about education. During Hokulea’s World Wide Voyage, she served as an educational specialist, and an apprentice navigator. In 2019, she had the opportunity to speak at TedEx BYU, providing her manao on “Aloha, It’s More than Hello.”

Victor Lo
Aloha guests! My name is Victor and I am one of the guides for Hawaii Free Tours. I was born and raised here in Honolulu, Hawaii to an immigrant family from Hong Kong. On my free time I love to surf & spend time with family and friends. Although I am not Hawaiian by blood, I consider Hawaii my home and love the people, the culture, and this land. I hope to show you a little bit more about Hawaii than what is seen and heard on TV & online.

Tiffany Morrissey
Born and raised in Hawaii, Tiffany’s lived in San Diego, London and Singapore.
Out of all the places she’s visited, Bali’s her fave. Loves wine, fried rice, surfing and hanging with her lil’ dude. Now that she’s back home for good, Tiffany’s so blessed to call Hawaii her home and can’t wait to show you all why that is.

Jason "Kamalani" Gunderson
Jason "Kamalani" Gunderson was born on the island of Maui and was raised on Oahu and in South Dakota. He is part Native Hawaiian and loves to share his knowledge (mana'o) with visitors to the island. When he's not flying for Hawaiian Airlines, you can find him surfing at Sandy Beach or cruising on the shore with his beloved Rottweiler/Doberman mix, Kingston. As your tour guide, Jason will be able to share with you the personal & cultural aspect of growing up as a Native Hawaiian in Hawaii.
